Will’s Beach Shack Campground Review

Location: West Range, SA
Will’s Beach Shack Campground is located at 61 Ocean Road in West Range, about 300km south of Adelaide on the South Australian coast, and five minutes from Kingston.
The campground is spacious, clean, and offers easy direct access to the beach (so close you can hear the waves at night!). The host is very hospitable and even the furry four-legged friend is welcome to stay.

We only stayed one night at Will’s Beach Shack Campground. It was a comfortable and slightly quirky spot with nice facilities.
It was next to the beach, although we couldn’t see the beach from where we stayed. There was easy access to the beach though, with a less than 50 metre stroll to get the sand between your toes.
Will the owner was a top bloke who kept the place in tip top shape. The amenities were clean and tidy with hot showers, flushing toilets and a washing machine available via an honesty box system.
It was a relaxing and quiet spot that was pretty well protected from the wind. We didn’t feel like there was a lot for us to do there, but it was a great spot to stop over for a night.
Bookings were essential for this spot, and whilst there was no dump point there, it was an easy 5 kilometre drive to the closest dump point in Kingston.
