We had a good time at Tannum Sands Holiday and Caravan Park.
We stayed a week on the grassed area powered sites and found it very relaxing and quiet. The park offered a range of accomodation options including cabins, powered and non-powered sites. There was the main park area with the amenities, cabins and slab sites, and then there was the large open grass area which had lots of shade and large trees.
The park had a swimming pool, dated tennis court and some trikes you could hire. We found the park good value for what we paid for and would return in the future.
The best part of the park was definitely the location! There was great walking and cycling tracks that could take you all around the island and everywhere in between.
We found some great spots along the river for both swimming and fishing – just remember to pack your insect spray for the evenings as the sandflies are pesky.
