The Tambo Mill Motel and Caravan Park is a beautiful, quiet and shady spot that’s tucked away in Central West QLD, conveniently located near all that Tambo has to offer.
The park is located in the relaxed town of Tambo, in Central West Queensland. The town is halfway between Brisbane and Mt Isa, and the motel and caravan park is hard to miss! It is situated on the main highway that runs through the town, with their iconic windmill positioned right out the front.
The caravan park is set amongst lush, quiet surrounds, and is easy walking distance to all that Tambo has to offer. Accommodation options include powered and non-powered sites, as well as air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms. Tambo Mill Motel and Caravan Park was a great spot to stop for the night. The town kicked along at a slower pace than most, and it was hard not to love this laid-back, relaxed approached to life.
The quiet little town boasted lush green grass and gorgeous shady trees. The caravan site was very comfortable too, and provided convenient drive-through van sites and beautiful big Boat Trees that offered welcomed shade.
There was a swimming pool – although we didn’t get a chance to try it – and the local tavern and pub were a short two minute walk away.
Overall it was a good, quiet, and clean spot to stop for an overnight stay.
