Perlubie Beach Campground is 21 kilometres north of Streaky Bay, on Wharff Drive in South Australia.
This absolute beachfront campground is accessible by 4WD and is a beautiful place to make camp for fully self-contained campers. The camp offers basic beach shelters, toilets and limited tank water. Sites are unpowered and can be booked for just $10 a night. This was our second time staying at this campground and it was hard to drag ourselves away.

Perlubie Beach Camping Area is a favourite of ours… which is probably why we’ve been there a couple of times now! This time round we stayed five nights. What can we say? We love it here!
An easy 20 minute drive north of Streaky Bay in South Australia, this spot offers spectacular beachfront camping spots.
It’s camping areas like this that have us thrilled at the addition to our setup, of our light weight roof top boat from Enlightened Boating. We enjoyed time out on the water in the boat, cast a rod or two, and cooked up freshly caught crabs and squid for dinner whilst listening to the sounds of the waves. They were bloody delicious!
This place was magic, and a hard spot to leave.
