We really enjoyed our time at Oh Deere Farm Stay with Karinda, who was bit of a dag.
The farm stay was on a working sugar cane farm and the owners had a real passion for showcasing horticulture to everyone, which was evident from the farm tour they offered around the property.
The campsite was set on lush grass and within the boundaries of the main house. There was a communal camp kitchen and fire pit available which served as a great location for everyone to enjoy a beverage together in the evenings.
The sugar cane tour was a great way for children to understand the farmer’s role in the food chain as they show and teach how the cane was planted, harvested and transported.
Overall a great place to visit and really educational – make sure you also check out the John Deere collection as it was incredible!
