Location: Port Arthur, TAS
The NRMA Port Arthur Holiday Park is located on Garden Point Road in Port Arthur, Tasmania, making it the perfect base for exploring the Tasman Peninsula. The huge park is set within acres of lush green surrounds, and is only a kilometre north of the Port Arthur Historic Site.
The park has heaps of accommodation options ranging from cabins and safari tents to powered and unpowered campsites and even bunkhouses which are perfect for groups.

The NRMA Port Arthur Holiday Park was a really large park that offered up heaps for the kids. The highlight for them was probably the pump track that they could ride their bikes on – there was even a station to fix their bikes which was pretty cool.
The park was lovely and green with lots of space. There was power, water and amenities in good condition.
We stayed two nights and used the park as a base for checking out the Port Arthur area. It was an awesome area for the kids, with 4WD tracks to explore and plenty of places for swimming and scenic walks. We also visited the Port Arthur Historic Site which was one kilometre down the road, and turned out to be way more exciting than we’d initially expected – check out the Facebook post about our visit here.
Overall it was a good spot to stay, if not a little on the costly side.
