Location: Yeppoon, QLD
Located at 23 Wildin Way in Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast, NRMA Capricorn Yeppoon Holiday Park provides the ideal location to explore the region. Local attractions include Great Keppel Islands, sandy beaches and the hinterland.
The holiday park has a lot to do for kids – from the swimming pool, to the water slide, bouncing pillow, and even night time movies under the stars. The accommodation includes cabins, caravan or camping sites, and the park is just 15 minutes south of Yeppoon and 30 minutes east of Rockhampton.

We had a good time at the NRMA Capricorn Yeppoon Holiday Park. It was situated between Emu Park and Yeppoon, within a residential area close to the beach and Mt Bluff walking and summit track.
The venue had a number of activities for kids which made it enjoyable for parents. Our kids enjoyed the bouncing pillow and the waterslide which was very much expected. There were both unpowered and powered sites available with grass and concrete slab options.
We found the overall park in good, well kept condition. While there was a large number of activities, we still found it was like many other big parks and didn’t offer that warm friendly feel that the smaller parks do.
If you enjoy a walk, make sure you check out Wreck Point and Bluff Point lookout for some amazing views over the ocean and hinterland. If you want to check out Great Keppel Island then make your way 10 minutes down the road to Rosslyn Bay to grab a ferry across. We would return to this park as it was a good place for the kids with plenty of activities to keep them occupied.
