Moonta Bay Caravan Park can be found at 5 Tossell Street in Moonta Bay, which is part of the Copper Coast at the top of the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia.
The park offers ample activities for children, a picturesque view of the beach and jetty, and accommodation options to suit most travellers. There’s a variety of units to choose from, as well as both powered and unpowered camping sites.

We stayed at Moonta Bay Caravan Park for two nights. It was a large campground in a great location with heaps to do, however we did find it a tad expensive.
The kids were well catered for at this park, with a big playground, a jumping pillow (the kids said it wasn’t overly springy) and a community water park right on the jetty. The kids could go in and play water games which was pretty cool, although it was only open some days.
The jetty was good for fishing, jumping off and swimming. It was a really pretty location on the water, especially when the sun was setting.
The camping site sizes were a bit on the small side. If you were trying to park a large van you may need to get people to move their cars to get in. We were right next to the campers beside us which we normally try to avoid, but the park served its purpose for getting some washing done and entertaining the kids.
The town of Moonta also offered a lot of shopping, so was a convenient spot to restock supplies.
