Mersey Bluff Caravan Park is a pretty spot located on the corner of William Street and Bluff Access Road in Devonport, Tasmania. The town of Devonport is on the north coast of Tasmania, about 100km north-west of Launceston.
Most of the camping sites at this caravan park are on the side of a hill, offering lovely views over the water below. There’s 64 campsites in total, all of them easy walking distance to a skate park, playground, two restaurants, and some local shopping spots.

When we turned up at Mersey Bluff Caravan Park there was torrential rain, but once that cleared we got to appreciate the area.
The caravan park was very clean, and offered toilets and unisex showers with code access. There were both power and water available, and access into the park was easy for all campers.
The sites at the park were large, and most were on the side of a hill which offered good views over the water. The park was set up around a cove that had a surf life saving club at the bottom. There was a newly refurbished skate park and playground at the surf club that the kids loved.
There was plenty to do within walking distance of this caravan park, and it was conveniently located near the ferry. We had friends who were allowed to stay on until their ferry arrived that night, even though their check out time was technically 10am. The park was quite enough at that time to facilitate this, and the owners were very accomodating.
Devonport was also a great place to do shopping, and all these thing were an easy walk from the park. We stayed one night, but could have easily filled in more time.
