A great little RV park in Halliday Bay which was 15 minutes drive from Cape Hillsborough National Park and 45 minutes from Mackay. It was part of a nine-hole golf course and had both powered and non-powered grass sites available.
The park was a small block of land that backed straight onto the beach. There were public toilets available at reception alongside a large undercover restaurant and seated area. Of an evening it became a bar, serving both drinks and dinner.
Down at the beach there was a swimming area netted off where you could swim at high tide.
It was a nice and quiet park to stay at, and very family friendly.
