We came across Freycinet Paintball Campground when looking for a camp spot in the National Parks along the Friendly Beaches – and we’re glad we did.
It was originally set up as a paintball business before expanding into a campground as well. The site was just off the road and had a large area of land that overlooked Moulting Lagoon.
The campground was conveniently located only 10 minutes from Freycinet National Park, and boasted beautiful green grass with plenty of shaded spots to choose from.
Up the top of the site there was one toilet and a paid shower, and down the bottom there were two port-a-loos. All amenities were in pretty clean condition.
There was very little water in the area which was the main reason we couldn’t stay here long – whilst we were there though, we had plenty to do!
Onsite there was a relaxed bar area with a very cool vibe, plus paintball games which we gave a whirl one night and had an absolute ball! A little further afield was the Freycinet National Park, ATV tours, the local lighthouse, Wineglass Bay, and heaps more gorgeous attractions and scenic walks.
