Bruny Island Landscape Supplies can be found at 1751 Bruny Island Main Road in Great Bay on Bruny Island, Tasmania. The campground is part of a timber yard located on the west coast of the island, and is a convenient base for exploring the island.
The hosts are friendly, the grassy sites comfortable, and the location right opposite the beach is fabulous. It’s a perfect simple setup suitable for fully self-sufficient travellers.

Bruny Island Landscape Supplies was what it sounds like – a landscape company, but with the added bonus of an RV area on a big block of farm land.
It was a nice RV park, and the block of land backed onto the landscape supplies which was only open a couple of days a week. The hosts were really friendly and the comfortable grassy sites were situated right opposite the beach.
The park was in the central part of Bruny and had both power and water, although there were only a few select sites that had power and water. Filling up tanks was also discouraged as the place ran on tank water. If you want water, it would be advisable to bring your own.
There were no toilets at this RV park, so campers do need to be fully self-sufficient and contained (no tents allowed). There was a camping kitchen set up though, which provided a good spot for cooking.
It was a good base for checking out the local activities. We did some fishing nearby, enjoyed Bruny Island Cheese which was just down the road, and Get Shucked next door was a must-visit highlight for us.
We didn’t hear from the owners during our entire stay. We simply sent them our money afterwards over the phone – but they were very lovely people.
