Bramwell Station Tourist Park Review

Bramwell Station Tourist Park is the most northerly working cattle station in Australia. The park is located at the start of the Old Telegraph Track, and serves as a popular stopover for travellers heading north on the OTT.
It’s located on the corner of Telegraph Road and Bramwell Junction, four hours south of The Tip and two hours north of Weipa. Bramwell Station Tourist Park offers large grassy sites and friendly hospitality, but is probably best known for its location to Queensland’s most popular 4WD track.

The owners of Bramwell Station Tourist Park were super friendly and the park catered to all travellers. There was a large grassed area that allowed us heaps of space to spread out, and we were able to get dinner and cold beers of an evening too – just make sure you book early in the day if you’re wanting dinner.
It was a great spot to stopover before we be embarked on the OTT. We stocked up on fuel from the roadhouse, but found it was the most expensive stop in our travels.
Apparently this spot is normally a bustling hub with live entertainment every night, but because we visited during COVID it was much quieter. We will definitely be heading back to experience this place in full swing!
The only real downside when we visited were the toilets, which had faeces on the wall.
