The Big4 Port Douglas Glengarry Holiday Park is nestled in a lush green rainforest, tucked between the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. It is a nature playground for parents, and an actual playground for children! There’s jumping pillows, water slides and swimming pools on site, and a bunch of beautiful natural destinations to explore if you’re happy to go for a drive.
The holiday park is located at 70 Mowbray River Toad in Mowbray QLD, a short 7km from the bustling resort village of Port Douglas. The park offers a variety of accommodation options from deluxe villas and cabins to both powered and unpowered campsites.

The Big4 Port Douglas Glengarry Holiday Park was a quiet caravan park with a lush green rainforest feel. It was a great park for children with a bouncy pillow, play area, swimming pool and large waterpark with slides.
The slab sites were on the smaller side and we did struggle to park our van. Once we were in though, we were able to enjoy the green grass and good sized concrete slab. The amenities block was in clean working order with washing machines, dryers and a camp kitchen all located under the same roof.
If you want to relax and stay in one location, then this is your spot. It was a 10 minute drive away from Port Douglas and offered a stack of entertainment for the kids.
