Big 4 MacDonnell Range Holiday Park Review

The Big 4 MacDonnell Range Holiday Park is a playground for the whole family, and the perfect base for exploring Alice Springs – or you could simply stay put and enjoy all that the park has to offer!
The park is a fabulous family destination nestled 4.5km south of Alice Springs, at 25 Palm Place in Ross. The park close enough to act as a base for exploring Alice Springs, but far enough away to be quiet and allow a full appreciation of the surrounding MacDonnell Ranges.
The park offers a variety of accommodation options from deluxe villas, to budget cabins and sites for both caravans and tents, as well as plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy! There’s go-karts, a basketball court, a kids’ playground, jumping pillows, BMX tracks, heated swimming pools, and even a water slide! It’s certainly a fun change of pace from some of the simpler campsites in the Northern Territory.

We only stayed at the Big 4 MacDonnell Range Holiday Park for one night, but could’ve definitely stayed longer! There was so much for the kids to do.
The highlight for them was probably the waterslide and pools, although I’m not sure how these would hold up at full capacity as it wasn’t an overly big area.
Some of the campsites offered a little shade and grass, but many were like a gravel pit so would be very hot in summer. It was very quiet when we visited so we were fortunate enough to score both.
The amenities were spotless, the owners friendly, and the laundry facilities greatly appreciated! We would definitely stop here for a visit again.
