BIG 4 Cape Jervis Accomodation Review
Location: Cape Jervis, SA
Location: Cape Jervis, SA
BIG 4 Cape Jervis Accomodation is set across five acres of farm land, and is located at 9351 Main South Road in Cape Jervis, South Australia. The caravan park is a short five minute drive on the mainland from the ferry to Kangaroo Island, so makes a great stopover point. There is even the option to leave your van at the site for a nominal fee, to save on the ferry cost across to the island.
This location boasts a range of accommodation options, from self-contained cottages, B&B rooms, family rooms, and of course both powered and unpowered camping sites.

This is a limited review of BIG 4 Cape Jervis Accommodation because we only had a quick overnight stay.
We arrived quite late as we had a 7:30 departure from Kangaroo Island. This spot was only five minutes drive on the mainland, so we went here because it was dark when we arrived and this spot was convenient.
There was power and water available, but we used neither as our stay was so short. The toilets were clean, if not a little dated.
This was a good location to base yourself if going to Kangaroo Island. You could even leave your van there for a nominal fee, which a few people seemed to do. The ferry across was quite expensive, which was why it could be beneficial to leave the van.
There was a great homemade playground at the campsite which the kids had heaps of fun on, as well as an onsite restaurant, and lovely morning views across to Kangaroo Island.
There was probably lost of other things to do, but we simply didn’t have a chance to check it all out.
