Our entire family had an amazing time at Alkoomi Adventure Park. The park was just 2.5km from the highway, but felt like it was in the outback.
It had 12 unpowered grass sites in various sizes, with views over the dam alongside some basic studio style accommodation. There was plenty of trees and amazing scenery from right down the bottom of the farm, all the way up to the top of the hill and the lookout.
The park had a big rustic camp kitchen with all amenities, and a large number of bar like seating that would be fantastic for a larger group or club.
At 4:30pm everyday there was animal feeding where the kids could feed the dogs, horses, and collect the eggs from the chickens. The kids loved the extra activities including the horse riding and motorbike riding that was done all around the property along trails and tracks.
The owners were amazing and really went over and above for our family – especially for the kids. We would have no problems recommending this park to anyone wanting a relaxing and adventurous farm stay.
