We thought the location for 1770 Caravan Park was fantastic! We had a beach front site with a camp fire right at the front of our campsite. It was a great spot for doing some fishing and for the kids to cool off in the water, with the option of both the river and the beach for swimming. If you love to SUP this was an awesome spot for that too!
The sunsets were amazing and the walking tracks pretty. We did find that the campground was quite expensive though, and there was no price difference for an extended stay. The sites were also close to the neighbouring sites, which left us feeling a bit squished in our caravan.
All in all it was a picturesque spot and we had a relatively comfortable stay.
We visited this spot in June 2020.
